"Kathleen A. Schmalz, RN, EdD, CLNC"
The founding member of NJMedicalRecordsReview is Kathleen A. Schmalz, RN, EdD, CLNC, a nationally recognized certified legal nurse consultant who also holds a Doctorate in Health Education. This unique blend of experience and education enables Dr. Schmalz to provide valuable resources and assistance important to the successful resolution of medical and/or nursing malpractice, general personal injury, product liability, workers' compensation, and environmental cases, to both plaintiff and defense firms. She is the author of over 25 publications on current health issues, and is certified as a legal nurse consultant through the Medical-Legal Consulting Institute, Inc.
Dr. Schmalz has over 25 years of extensive clinical nursing experience in Emergency Department, Coronary Care, and Intensive Care. In the various positions she has held, Dr. Schmalz also gained experience in clinical pharmaceutical research, teaching, health education, and school nursing.
